Bryan Ellingson, MSW
After an early career as a business analyst, triage manager, and scrum master for software companies (Jobs2Web, SuccessFactors, and SAP) in the 2000s, Bryan went on to get a MSW at St. Catherine University and University of St. Thomas joint School of Social Work. Bryan has a BA in Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas. Following nearly a decade working as a psychotherapist (MPSI, Washburn Center for Children, Tubman Shelter, and in private practice), specializing in psychodynamic, EMDR, and trauma therapy, he launched Prequel.
Inspiration led Bryan to start Prequel. An opportunity to collaborate with individuals on personal and professional challenges and change lives. It is with a deep affinity, professionalism, curiosity, humor, empathy, non-judgement, talent and experience working with people from all walks of life that client driven outcomes are achieved.
The Prequel logo is inspired by the black swan metaphor. A black swan event can be positive or negative, go against all expectations, and thought to be non-existent. Impasses, human potential, and aspirations can at times seem unreachable. High performance coaching at Prequel collaborates with clients to achieve excellence, the “out of reach,” and peace of mind.
